Spring is known as a season of fresh starts. It is a perfect time for renewal and you can start from cleaning the environment.
As well as it is good to declutter your home, it is good to clean up your health — making it a time to detox the body and lose weight. There is also no better time than now to focus on your mental health to cleanse your mind and soul for feeling yourself best.
Mind clutter can lead to lack of focus, stress, mistakes, health issues and unhappiness at the end.
A helpful way to begin the detox process is to set an intention for the next page of your life (write down a goal) and follow these steps to learn how to detox your mind:
1. Create a Morning Routine
If you have control over the first thirty minutes of your day by setting some structure to your morning, like drinking some warm water first, exercising or taking a walk in a natural area to feel refreshed and ready for a new day, you boost your productivity and energy levels, as well as calm your state of mind.
2. Take a Day off and Spend Time in the Quiet
Taking some time for yourself is essential for your well-being. Be selfish and pamper yourself because it is a great way to get you in the right frame of mind.
Start with a smoothing bath, or make it a SPA time with cleansing body and face procedures using your favorite essential oils to feel relaxation. When you feel your body clean, your spirit will also feel rejuvenated.
You should admit how beneficial meditation is. It helps you relax, combats stress and anxiety, and get you back to inner peace. When detoxing your mind of anything that you worry about, holding you back, or making you feel unhappy, there's nothing better than a short meditation session to unleash those worries and find inner peace for your restart. 4. Eat Healthily
Eating healthy is the best way to purify your mind, body, and soul as what we eat has a great impact on every aspect of our health. A balanced nutritious diet has positive effects on our energy, and how the body and brain functions.
5. Spend Time Outdoors
Time spent outside improves overall physical and mental health, lowers stress levels, enhances the ability to concentrate, and quiets the mind. Getting outdoors may just be the best way to detox your mind.
6. Cut Out the Toxic People and Social Media
If there’s someone in your life who always makes you feel worse or unhappy after being with them, stop keeping that toxic person around. To detox your mind and soul you do not need unnecessary stress or drama they add to your life. The same with social media that clutters your mind with bad news or while you are scrolling your phone watching social media your time flies unproductively. Schedule 30 minutes for social media if it is necessary for your work and then immediately log-off and you will have more time to spend with those who make you feel good.
7. Express Gratitude
Detoxing your mind and body and soul it is important to remember what drives our wellness. If you start each morning to express gratitude, it will aid in resetting your mindset. When we stop comparing ourselves with others and appreciate everything good in our lives, we begin to appreciate ourselves and feel the power that is within us to improve overall quality of the life and be happier.
